We have created the most unique picnics in East London. It’s not just a picnic, but an experience! If you want to propose, celebrate an anniversary, have a special birthday, staff lunch, baby shower, bachelorette party, supper club or just want some time together with the one you love, friends or family, then this is for you! Take a moment to unplug, slow down and just breathe.
All you have to do is choose your picnic package, a theme – or let us create the magic for you, and we’ll take care of the rest. All our picnics are hosted in our picnic garden, Urban Roots, which is in Vincent.
We have various menus to choose from to suit your function and budget. Our food is plated and presented on crockery to compliment your theme, and is served picnic style. It is made with love and the freshest ingredients to ensure you walk away completely satisfied.
Use of venue with a picnic set up
This includes venue hire and the exclusive use of our picnic garden during your allocated time. We have two time slots for you to choose from.
10.00 – 15.00 OR 17.00 – 22.00
We work from a blank slate for every picnic. Each setup is unique and created just for you. It includes the hiring of all our picnic equipment, set up & clean up service, table styling & design, tablecloth, overlays & runners, faux and/or fresh flowers and water & wine glasses with ice.
Our picnics are set up on a low table with scatter cushions or high tables and chairs.

Please note, we only offer our Harvest Board menu for picnics that have 5 guests or less, but can be ordered for up to 24 guests.
It includes cheese sticks with prosciutto and rocket, bread, pretzels, salami skewer with feta, cherry tomatoes and basil with a basil vinaigrette, veggie jars with red and yellow peppers, carrots and cucumber with ranch dressing, cream cheese balls, cheddar cheese, fruit, olives, beef, ham, fig preserves, red pepper hummus and chocolate brownies with pecan nuts.
